About Dr Aung
Dr. Aung obtained the medical degree in 2004 at Institute of Medicine 1 Yangon, Myanmar, practicing medicine for 14 years since.
She moved to Australia in 2008 with her husband and practiced in different areas -general medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, renal medicine, emergency medicine at Alice Springs Hospital in the NT. She then moved to Victoria in 2012 and mainly practiced in obstetrics and gynaecology at different hospitals- William Angliss, Latrobe Regional Hospital, Warragul Hospital and Bass Coast Health in Wonthaggi. In 2014, she joined the rural GP training program. Dr Aung obtained her fellowship in general practice in 2016, and since then she has practiced in general medicine in addition to her special interest in women health. She has a wide range of experiences in different areas of medicine in different settings.

- Reproductive age ( eg pre pregnancy counselling, initial assessment and management of Subfertility, antenatal and postpartum shared care, procedural gynaecology such as Implanon and Mirena insertion)
