Dr Nyi Nyi Lwin is originally from Myanmar (formerly Burma) and graduated in 2006.  He then moved to Australia in 2009 and since then, he worked as a resident medical officer at Frankston Hospital, Peninsula Health.

Due to his passion regarding continuity of care and holistic approach in medicine, he joined Australian GP Training program in 2012 and attained Fellowship in General Practice in 2014. Throughout GP training program, he worked in Camperdown, Victoria for 4 years and Wangarrata, Victoria for 6 months and also received Fellowship in Advanced Rural General Practice in 2015. He also spent 14 months working in San Remo before joining The Medical Clinic in 2017.

Nyi Nyi brings a vast range of experience in General Practice and particular interests in Child Health and Dermatology. Nyi Nyi has a strong focus on preventive medicine and is also passionate about Family Health and Men’s health.

“I enjoy looking after all aspects of General Practice, Family Medicine, Chronic disease management. I have special interest in providing care for Men’s Health, Paediatrics and Geriatrics patients with multiple comorbidities. Some of the procedures I perform are removal of skin lesions, venesection, iron infusion, implanon insertion and removal.”
